Overall Opinion: No one does electronics like Best Buy, and now fans of the retail giant can do their shopping with a convenient app. The Best Buy mobile app is free to download from the Google Play Store and App Store, and it is compatible with all Android and iOS devices. The app takes just moments to install. It also takes up a minimal amount of space on a phone or tablet. Features of this app include a store locator. Users can find a physical Best Buy close to their location by entering a zip code. The app can also be used when a customer is in a Best Buy store to scan bar codes of products. Doing this will serve up additional information about the product the customer has chosen. It is also possible to use the app to create wedding registries and view past purchases. One unique feature allows users to look up the resale value of their old electronic devices. This can be very useful when a shopper is looking to upgrade items like laptops, phones, or televisions. The app will also provide access to any weekly or monthly sales that are happening in Best Buy stores, and having the app will occasionally yield access to coupons or special sales. Some areas of the app could be improved. The ability to take screenshots would be useful, as would the availability of more coupons and flash sales.
