Overall Opinion: I was Genuis level 2 client but I have deleted my account had spent a great deal and most especially even during Covid was a loyal client. The last apartment I stayed Marques Design was a complete disgrace which is managed by GuestReady in Porto Portugal and who were formerly The Porto Concierge same bad lazy staff BEWARE! Misleading photos on Booking.com, dirty apartment, trash left behind from previous tenant, dirty duvet, no hairdryer, no extra linen provided for a booking of 30 days and lifts not working too, and the bathroom had a stench from pipes that would not go away this bathroom was situated right by the kitchen. Had to check in late after 7pm on first day because GuestReady had a problem. My second day at apartment after the check in fiasco of day before the company GuestReady then had arranged a viewing of this apartment at 10am in the morning while it is being rented out to me!!! I complained to Booking.com about all these problems and they did nothing! So they are pointless don't bother with them if you got issues they will only be concerned with their partners! I have spent a small fortune with them as most of 2020 I stayed in bookings with Booking,com so an entire year and before that in 2019 and 2018 used them for several bookings at five star hotels in Dubai, Barcelona and Egypt I then used Booking.com while stuck because of Covid 19 in Portugal but even so the clients who actually pay they don't care about you when there is a problem!!! I asked for a refund they said they would get back to me and then I saw that GuestReady advertised on Booking.com the same apartment again to some other sucker for the exact same dates while I was still there trying to get another sucker to take over from booking before giving me a refund! The issues still not fixed and me still in the apartment! These companies like Booking.com and the property management companies have zero respect for clients! Time some serious regulation does happen concerning all these short term apartment rentals it is a total racket! After this I prefer to take my business to established brand hotel groups and pay directly even if it is more! I an very angry writing this because I see corporate greed is truly a disease that needs to be eradicated!
Pros: Convenient but in long run not worth it!
Cons: They don't care about their clients paying! Only the partners and they work together to dupe people into bookings when they know the apartments have problems!!!
