Overall Opinion: The main features of the Cliq app by Zoho are ones familiar to team messaging apps. These include group chats, video chats, voice calling functionality, and file-sharing capability. You can create different channels to separate projects and teams. The app also gives your team the ability to bring information in from at least twenty different third party apps, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and Eventbrite. However, it is also missing some important features, such as the ability to edit messages after posting, and the capability to screen share with others. The main feature of Cliq that sets it apart from other team collaboration tools is the ability to combine its capabilities with other Zoho tools, such as Zoho Mail, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Docs. If your company owns one or more of these tools, it can access the Cliq messaging features through one of these other applications. Cliq has both a free and paid version of the app, with the free version placing certain limitations on channel customization, search features, and settings. The paid version is relatively affordable compared to other team messaging apps, and removes most of the limitations imposed by the free version.
