We have 1 review for iPhone 8. The average overall ratings is 4.0 / 5 stars.
Overall Opinion: For months the Apple diehards anticipated the release of the iPhone 8. They spent endless days trying to decipher the occasional clues from the manufacturer. Finally, all the questions were answered. Users seem to be satisfied; the sales of the new model were up compared to older releases. One of the biggest improvements to the phone is its new cameras. There is a front and rear-facing camera, and users can now record video in 4K quality. The slow-motion feature on the video recorder is still the best in the industry. The rear camera is a whopping 12-megapixel beast, meaning that you will get much better resolution with this phone. Wireless charging has been added to the iPhone 8, but it comes with a price. The wireless charging feature means that the phone now has a glass back as well as a glass front. This will cause some concern for those people who make a habit out of dropping their phones. The good news is that the glass seems to be more durable on the new version. Drop tests produced only scuffs and scratches instead of a break. The iPhone 8 is also water-resistant. It has been tested by placing it in three feet of water for thirty minutes. The phones are then checked to make sure they work immediately following the test as well as a few days after. It would be a stretch to say that someone could swim with their iPhone, but this level of water resistance should give some comfort to those who always seem to be getting their phone wet. Of course, this also makes the phone somewhat weather-resistant, too. The new battery that is used in this device can get close to 24 hours on a full charge. That is a vast improvement over previous versions of the iPhone. The length of battery life is still dependent on how heavy you use your phone, though, so the improvement will be relative.
Pros: Better screen resolution A11 Bionic Chip for more power Cameras are exceptional
Cons: No 3.5mm audio jack Wireless charging requires extra billing/costs No Face ID feature like on previous versions
