Overall Opinion: Video marketing is huge in today's digital business world. Wistia bills itself as the simplest video platform available, and it does a pretty good job of delivering on this claim. Wistia provides video creation tools and video hosting for those who want to leverage the power of video to attract new customers. It runs right from the browser, and customer service is available for those who need support. Features of the program include the ability to create custom thumbnails, an ad-free player, and the ability to add interactive elements to videos. Once a user creates a video, they can easily embed it on their website. The included player is elegant and does a great job of displaying content without distractions. Wistia also integrates with some other third-party video services which can help with distribution. The player will support videos of up to 4K quality. Users can place them on a website, share to social media platforms, or even include them in email marketing campaigns. The entire process takes just a few clicks. Even those who have no prior experience with making marketing videos should be able to navigate this platform in a very short period of time. There are only a few drawbacks that hinder Wistia and what it tries to accomplish. The data provided on videos is great, but accessing it can be troublesome. It would be helpful if it were possible to view analytics in a separate dashboard. It would also be nice if Wistia was able to cultivate more third-party integration.
